A fatal collision is closing 71st Street in Yale, Tulsa police said

Officers responded around 1:30 p.m. to the scene, where westbound traffic on 71st Street was stopped, according to police.

Several other people were reportedly injured by first responders.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area.

“Parts of the intersection will likely be closed for several hours as officers begin an investigation and clear the scene,” police said in a social media post.
