Considered to be one of the most addictive mystery shows of all time, Lost is now available to stream on Disney Plus.

As fans rediscover JJ Abrams’ iconic series, they are beginning to wonder where the cast of Lost is nowadays.

2024 marks the 20th anniversary of Lost, which made its seismic debut with a dramatic plane crash back in 2004. Its controversial finale, which aired back in 2010, is also still talked about today thanks to a major twist.

Whether you liked how the show ended or not, Lost remains one of the most influential television series ever made.

Matthew Fox as Dr. Jack Shephard

Following his role as Lost’s central protagonist, Matthew Fox moved from TV to the big screen. He starred in a leading role in the 2012 film Emperor, played Picasso on Alex Cross and appeared in World War Z alongside Brad Pitt. Recently, he made a comeback to television with his leading role in the mini-series Last Light and also joined the cast of C*A*U*G*H*T.

Evangeline Lilly as Kate Austen

Playing the role of the beloved character Kate catapulted Evangeline Lilly into fame, opening doors to a plethora of opportunities. Most notably, the actress went on to play Tauriel in Peter Jackson’s adaptation of The Hobbit and joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Hope van Dyn, first appearing in the movie Ant-Man in 2015. She is also a published author, debuting with a children’s novel The Squickerwonkers in 2014. She notably dated Lost co-star Dominic Monaghan between 2004 and 2007 but is now in a long-term relationship with Norman Kali, who is father to her two children. Evangeline has recently announced that she will be stepping away from acting for the foreseeable future, to focus on her family life and humanitarian work.

Josh Holloway as James ‘Sawyer’ Ford

After playing Sawyer in Lost, Josh Holloway appeared in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. His more prominent TV roles include the lead on Sci-Fi Intelligence, Will Bowman on Colony, and most recently, his recurring role in Yellowstone. Community fans may also recognize him as the handsome cowboy from the gang’s second-ever paintball fight. His upcoming role on the TV series Duster sees him reunited with one of Lost’s creators, JJ Abrams, who now serves as creator on the show.

Naveen Andrews as Sayid Jarrah

After the series ended, Naveen Andrews continued to have a successful TV career, playing Jonas Maliki in Sci-Fi Drama Sense8 between 2015 and 2018. He went on to play Julian Cousins ​​in the mystery thriller Instinct, before scoring a nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie at the Hollywood Critics Association awards for his role in The Dropout. Most recently, he starred as Robert Kamdar in The Cleaning Lady.

Terry O’Quinn as John Locke

Terry O’Quinn has kept busy, appearing in new projects almost every year since Lost aired its last episode. His prominent roles include the TV series Patriot, where he played Tom Tavner and Hawaii Five-0, where he starred alongside his Lost co-stars Jorge Garcia and Daniel Dae Kim. More recently, he appeared as Major General Beale in a mini-series set in The Walking Dead universe – The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live.

Following her role as Sun in Lost, Yunjin Kim landed as one of the leads in Mistress, which ran for 4 seasons. She has also appeared in South Korean productions, from 2012’s The Neighbors to Ms. Ma, Nemesis and Korean remake of Money Heist, Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area. Recently, she appeared in Disney+’s Station 19 and Netflix’s To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before spin-off, XO, Kitty.

Daniel Dae Kim as Jin-Soo Kwon

Immediately after wrapping up Lost, Daniel Dae Kim went on to play Chin Ho Kell in Hawaii Five-0, where he was reunited with a few other Lost alumni throughout its run. He also tried his hand at directing, making his directorial debut on Hawaii Five-0. On the big screen, Daniel played Jack King in Insurgent and Allegiant, which are movies from the dystopian Divergent franchise. He has his own production company, 3AD, which is the studio behind the television series The Good Doctor. His most recent role was Fire Lord Ozai in a 2024 TV show Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Jorge Garcia as Hugo Reyes

Following the end of Lost, Jorge appeared on numerous TV Series. Most notably, he starred in all episodes of Alcatraz as Dr. Diego Soto and Jerry Ortega in Hawaii Five-0, where he was reunited with fellow Lost cast members, Daniel Dae Kim and Terry O’Quinn. He had a chance to run into another Lost co-star, Emilie de Ravin, when he guest starred as Anton the Giant on Once Upon a Time.

In 2010, the same year when Lost aired its last episode, Emilie starred opposite Robert Pattinson in a romantic drama, Remember Me. Emilie’s most prominent TV role after Lost was playing Belle in Once Upon a Time. Most recently, she starred in a mini-series True Colors.

JJ Abrams

JJ Abrams, one of the show’s three creators, has kept busy since Lost concluded in 2010, serving as a producer and director on many beloved franchises. He went on to direct Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens and Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker and produced Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi. He served as a producer on two installments in the Mission: Impossible saga, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol and Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation. He also directed and produced the Star Trek reboot movies.
