One man died in Friday’s crash in Macon County

A Tuskegee man was killed in a car crash Friday afternoon, according to the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division.

The two-vehicle crash occurred on Macon County 56 near Washington Boulevard at approximately 3:18 p.m. Tuskegee resident Kendarrious D. Chandler, who was driving a 2004 Honda Accord, was fatally struck by a 2024 Toyota Highlander driven by by a woman from Tallassee.

Chandler was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The collision is an ongoing investigation and no further information was immediately released by ALEA.
