Milwaukee County Mailing Box Listings for the 2024 Election

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) — As the November election approaches, here’s a list of municipalities in Milwaukee County that offer drop boxes, as well as their locations:

Brown deer-Village Hall 4800 W. Green Brook Drive, located in front of the entrance to City Hall

Cudahy-City Hall 5050 S. Lake Drive, night safe attached to building

Franklin-City Hall 9229 W. Loomis Road, on the wall outside the building

Greendale-Village Hall, 6500 Northway, outside City Hall

Greenfield-City Hall, 7325 W. Forest Home Avenue, on the south wall of the building

Milwaukee:

  • Atkinson Library, 1960 W. Atkinson Avenue Southwest corner of building at edge of parking lot
  • Bay View Library, 2566 S. Kinnickinnic Avenue at S. Kinnickinnic Ave, sidewalk by front door and bike rack
  • Capitol Library, 3969 N. 74th Street On 74th St. from the sidewalk on the south side of the main entrance
  • Center Street Library, 2727 W. Fond du Lac Avenue, on Fond du Lac Ave, left of the book, which is to the left of the front door
  • Central Library, 814 W. Wisconsin Avenue at 8th St. near the doors of Centennial Hall
  • City Hall, 200 E. Wells Street Complex
  • East Library, 2320 N. Cramer Street, east of the station on the east side of Parkside Dr.
  • Operations Center, 1901 S. Kinnickinnic Avenue
  • Good Hope Library, 7715 W. Good Hope Road, near the library’s main doors
  • Mitchell Street Library, 906 W. Historic Mitchell Street, west of the front doors of the Mitchell St. sidewalk branch.

  • Villard Square Library, 5190 N. 35th Street, directly across from the main entrance on 35th St.
  • Zablocki Library, 3501 W. Oklahoma Avenue, directly across from the main entrance on 35th St.

Six out of 19 municipalities will do so not have inboxes:

  • Bayside
  • Fox Point
  • Glendale
  • Hales Corners
  • River Hills
  • Saint Francis

Several communities in southeastern Wisconsin are not allowing voters to use the ballot box during the November election. It’s becoming a growing trend after a state Supreme Court decision re-legalized unmanned delivery boxes in the battlefield state.

In 2020, 66 of Wisconsin’s 72 counties used ballot boxes, according to state election officials, and 39 states did the same.
