Two injured in McDonald County – Newstalk KZRG

A John Deere front loader and a Harley Davidson motorcycle were involved in a crash Friday night in McDonald County.

The Highway Patrol says the two vehicles, traveling in opposite directions, were both too close to the center line and turned into each other.

The Harley driver, James T. Potter, 54, and his passenger, Konnie M. Potter, 55, both of Southwest City, were ejected and seriously injured.

Neither was wearing a helmet.

James Potter was taken to Mercy Springfield.

Konnie Potter was transported to Mercy Joplin.

The driver of the Front End Loader, Robert E. Williams, 53, of Colcord, Oklahoma, was not injured.
