Kate Walsh is changing her style!

Grey’s Anatomy fans had to do a double take when it came to Walsh’s new look for Paris Fashion Week! The 56-year-old actress, who became known to fans as Dr. Addison Montgomery Shepherd on the long-running medical drama, ditched her red hair for blonde hair in the City of Love.

Walsh debuted a voluminous version of a pixie cut at the Nina Ricci show during Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Spring-Summer 2025 at Hotel Potocki on Friday, September 27.

For the elegant event, she flashed a bit of skin in a contrasting all-black outfit, which alternated between solid material and lace. Walsh added a pair of strappy heels and an oversized black blazer to complete her modern look.

In a selfie video of a car ride shared on Instagram Stories before the event, Walsh wore a pair of white cat-eye sunglasses.

Next up for her Paris snaps was a photo of the star looking pretty in flowers on the same day at the Giambattista Valli Paris Womenswear Spring Summer 2025 show.

This time, Walsh wore her hair back with a side part for major trendy vibes. Underneath her floral overcoat was a salmon pink chiffon blouse. Her makeup matched her pink look and the actress accessorized with three pairs of tiny earrings.

A day before her double look, Walsh debuted blonde bangs at Christopher Esber Womenswear Spring-Summer 2025.

She was a standout in a long sleeved emerald green mini dress. The Emily in Paris the actress added sultry elements with a smoky eye and a bold red lip. She completed her look with black heels and gold hoop earrings.

Walsh’s Paris Fashion Week wardrobe was a far cry from the scrubs she wore during her run at Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital.

Her character, Addison Shepherd, was first introduced when the dual board-certified OB/GYN appeared on the show trying to save her marriage to Derek Shepherd (played by Patrick Dempsey).

Unfortunately for her, Dr. McDreamy had already started getting close to Meredith Gray (played by Ellen Pompeo), which caused Addison to leave.

However, all hope was not lost – she ended up getting her own spin-off, Private practicefor six seasons before returning to the show in season 18 as a recurring character.

And in the real world, Walsh had her own happy ending, announcing in October 2022 that she was engaged to Australian Andrew Nixon.
