Kids show off their entrepreneurial skills at the Bradley Fair event

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Bradley Fair hosted North America’s largest entrepreneurship event for kids on Saturday, giving young innovators a platform to sell their products and services.

The Kids Business Fair aims to inspire children to embrace risk-taking, problem-solving and creative thinking.

A key rule of the competition is that if a parent is found promoting or selling their child’s products, the child’s business will be disqualified, which can add pressure to young entrepreneurs.

“Sometimes it’s stressful,” said Sophie Morgan-Boone, a participant. “I made hats with a knitting loom and the rest is crocheted. I’m happy because people like what I’ve created and I think it’s cool.”

Children aged six to 12 with business ideas were invited to apply and present their skills at the event.
