Bengals’ Zack Moss scores with one second left vs Panthers

Cincinnati Bengals running back Zack Moss had an impressive effort to get into the end zone on a catch from quarterback Joe Burrow at the end of the first half of the NFL Week 4 game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday at Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium.

It was the Bengals’ third touchdown of the game, giving Cincinnati a 21-14 lead. Fox color analyst Daryl Johnston remarked during the broadcast about how Moss and the Bengals lucked out, as time would have expired and Cincinnati would have come away without points if Panthers defensive back Nick Scott, who played for the Bengals last season, hadn’t slipped .

“Boy, Cincinnati really got lucky here,” Johnston said. “Because if this is tackled in bounds. That’s gonna be tackled short. You’re not gonna get any points. And we’re going (into the locker room) 14-14. … That’s a big roll of the dice right there.”
