Pierre is playing for the England Under-17 team in the EURO 2025 qualifiers

England U21 player Jhanaie Pierre played for the England U17 team, which secured top spot in Group A3 in the first round of UEFA EURO 2025 qualifying.

The young striker, who was included in John Salomon’s 20-man squad earlier this month, came on as a substitute in the second half of two of the Young Lionesses’ three games last week.

Jhanaie played 20 minutes in the 7-0 win over the Faroe Islands before playing in the closing stages of the 2-0 win over the Czech Republic. Although she was an unused substitute in the last match against the Netherlands, the Young Lionesses secured their place in the next qualifying round after a 2-2 draw at St George’s Park.

Salomon’s team will take part in the second round of EURO qualifying, which will be drawn on Friday, December 6, in March, with seven teams looking to book their place in the final in May 2025.
