A Bullitt County woman accused of murdering her two sons will plead guilty to the charges

BULLITT Co., Ky. (WAVE) – Tiffanie Lucas, the woman accused of shooting and killing her two sons in a Bullitt County home, will plead guilty to the charges.

Lucas was arrested on November 8, 2023, after her sons, 9-year-old Jayden Howard and 6-year-old Maurice Baker Jr., were found shot to death in the bedroom of the home. Her bail was set at $2 million.

Previous reports

A Bullitt County woman claimed she went crazy at the time of the shooting. The insanity argument arose in a lawsuit received in Bullitt County Superior Court in September 2024.

The document indicated that her defenders intended that some mental illness, defect or other condition caused her to behave the way she did and, as a result, shoot and kill the boys.
