One of the funniest sitcoms of the 2010s is available on Netflix

The amount of licensed TV content on Netflix has decreased in recent years, but every now and then the service receives an exciting addition. That was certainly the case this week when Netflix added a hilarious and deeply underrated Comedy Central series Detroiters to your library.

Between its five-year run Saturday Night Live and the premiere of his sketch show, I think you should leaveTim Robinson stars in a silly comedy series about two best friends who work for an advertising agency in Detroit, Michigan. Robinson starred alongside Sam Richardson, who also co-created the series alongside Zach Kanin and Joe Kelly.

If you are a fan of Robinson’s other works and haven’t seen it Detroiters and yet you’re missing out on one of the funniest sitcoms of the last decade. Unfortunately, the series only aired for two seasons before Comedy Central pulled the plug, but now a whole new audience will have the chance to see what gave Netflix the confidence to allow Robinson to create his own show.

While Robinson and Richardson are more than enough to carry the show, Detroiters it also had a litany of notable guest stars. Highlights included Keegan-Michael Key, Richard Karn, Danny Brown and Connor O’Malley. Many former SNL cast members also appeared, such as Cecily Strong, Jason Sudeikis and Chris Redd.

Fortunately, both leads have since reached new heights in Hollywood. I think you should leave will likely return for a fourth season on Netflix, and Robinson also starred in the 2024 comedy Friendship alongside Paul Rudd and Kate Mara. Meanwhile, Richardson can be seen in Ted Lasso, Curb your enthusiasmAND Afterparty.
