Biden’s immigration failure and the standoff in Afghanistan almost created a nightmare of terror on Election Day

The Biden-Harris administration does not care about national security.

Exhibit 1 Billion: The ugly case of Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, an Afghan national who worked for the CIA in his home country and received a special visa to the US after President Biden’s disastrous blunder.

Tawhedi is currently charged with conspiring to carry out an ISIS-style terrorist attack on Election Day.

Please note that as a beneficiary of a special visa, he was theoretically subject to detailed inspections before entering the United States.

But all the evidence shows that Biden’s team took it as seriously as our open border, the threat from Iran, or any other national security issue.

Indeed, the Biden-Harris masterminds allowed approximately 77,000 Afghans into the country on the same terms as Tawhedi.

But according to federal law enforcement officials, Department of Homeland Security employees tasked with screening visa holders “had no idea” and were completely overwhelmed by the influx of migrants when Afghanistan fell to the Taliban.

The Office of the Inspector General confirmed this: “During the recent crisis in Afghanistan, DHS encountered obstacles in screening, vetting, and inspecting all evacuees.”

Of course, DHS Chief Alejandro Mayorkas brazenly criticized the reporter who dared to question him about this (thankfully averted) disaster.

It is unclear at this time whether Tawhedi was already a covert potential terrorist when he received his visa, or whether he became one after landing in the US.

Both possibilities are completely damning: either way, countless others admitted under this program also pose a potential terrorist risk.

This would be consistent with the huge number of suspected terrorists crossing the southern border unhindered under the Biden-Harris-Mayorkas administration, some of whom have already he tried terrorist attacks.

Like trying to drive a truck into a Marine base in Virginia earlier this year.

But the fact that Tawhedi was the product of a special program intended to ensure security proves just how deep into the abyss Biden and Harris have taken this country when it comes to immigration.
