A jury finds a California man not guilty in a Mobile murder case

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A Mobile County jury has found a California man not guilty of murder in a cold case from 2016.

Prosecutors alleged that Christopher Hodoh fatally shot 21-year-old Darius Mose at the Warren Inn Apartments on Airport Boulevard in Mobile. A grand jury indicted Hodoh last year and authorities extradited him from California.

Prosecutors alleged that Hodoh had purchased marijuana from Mose three times before.

The jury deliberated late last night before finding Hodoh not guilty.
