A Ghaziabad police officer adopts a newborn baby girl found abandoned in the bushes

A newborn baby girl, abandoned in the bushes in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, was adopted by a local police officer on Saturday. The baby’s crying alerted local residents, who quickly notified the police.

Officers from Dudhiya Peepal police station, led by Sub-Inspector Pushpendra Singh, immediately reached the spot and rescued the child. She was quickly taken to Dasna CSC for medical examination and care. Despite efforts to find her family, no one came forward to claim the child.

Moved by the situation, Sub-Inspector Pushpendra Singh and his wife Rashi decided to adopt the newborn. After discussing the matter, the couple began the legal process of welcoming a baby into the family. They have been married since 2018 and have no children. They considered the birth of a child during the Navratri festival as a divine blessing.

Inspector Ankit Chauhan confirmed that the adoption process has started and the baby is currently in the care of the Singh family. Both Pushpendra and his wife are eager to complete the legal formalities and officially integrate the child into the family, expressing their deep joy and commitment to its future.
