A city bus crashes in front of the UCCS campus

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A city bus and a passenger car crashed outside the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs around 8 a.m. Saturday.

Police confirmed that firefighters rescued one person who was trapped in the vehicle. The person was transported to the hospital for treatment.

One eastbound lane is closed near the scene until the investigation is completed.
