A prosecutor says a Swansea man has been found guilty for his role in the January 6 attack on the US Capitol

A Massachusetts man was convicted Thursday of felonies and misdemeanors related to his actions during the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia.

michael st Pierre, 46, of Swansea was found guilty Wednesday in U.S. District Court of one felony and three misdemeanors. The conviction followed a bench trial before U.S. District Court Judge Jia M. Cobb, the release said.

St. Pierre was convicted of felony disorderly conduct and three misdemeanors, including destruction of government property, disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds and committing an act of physical violence on Capitol grounds.
