Tywain Robinson verdict: Tywain Robinson found guilty of murder and attempted murder in 2021

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — A Fresno man will soon find out how long he will spend behind bars when he learns his fate on Friday.

The jury found Tywain Robinson guilty of murder and attempted murder.

During his testimony, he admitted that in May 2021 he opened fire through the door and wall of his apartment.

However, Robinson claimed it was self-defense because he saw two men approaching him and believed one of them was armed.

Isaac Jackson, 24, the uncle of Robinson’s girlfriend, was killed in the shooting.

The other man was unharmed.

Robinson will be sentenced next month and faces up to life in prison.
