Demi Lovato’s fiancé, Jutes, reveals the details of the singer’s sentimental proposal

Demi Lovato’s fiancé Jutes revealed he almost cried when he proposed to the singer in December 2023.

During a Thursday appearance on the “Viall Files” podcast, the Canadian musician said he proposed to Lovato – who uses the pronouns she/her and they/them – by playing a song on guitar that ends with the words “Will you marry me?”

“I definitely almost cried a few times,” he said with a smile. “I basically had her team get some stuff ready and distract her.”

The 33-year-old also admitted that Lovato, 32, wasn’t expecting a proposal, which is why he thought it was the perfect time to do it.

“I wanted to surprise her,” he said. – We mentioned that we wanted to get married and stuff like that.
