Over 100 animals rescued from floods in Milton

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (Gray News) – More than 100 pets were rescued from flooding in Milton County, Florida.

The Hillsborough County Fire Department said its teams rescued 104 animals “so no one – human or animal – will be left without help.”

“This dog’s eyes say it all when he looks at Capt. Dusty Mascaro from our HCFR TSAR team after being transported to a safe place,” the firefighters wrote on their Facebook page.

The Hillsborough County Fire Department expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve and protect the community.
