Over 100 animals rescued from floods in Milton

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (Gray News) – More than 100 pets were rescued from flooding in Milton County, Florida.

The Hillsborough County Fire Department said its teams rescued 104 animals “so no one – human or animal – will be left without help.”

“This dog’s eyes say it all when he looks at Capt. Dusty Mascaro from our HCFR TSAR team after being transported to safety,” the fire department wrote on Facebook.

The Hillsborough County Fire Department expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve and protect the community.
