Bijan Robinson is having a career day with the Atlanta Falcons

Week six of the NFL season is almost over, and many former Texas Longhorn players made an impact for their team this Sunday.

Kicking off Sunday morning in London against the Chicago Bears and Jacksonville Jaguars. Bears running back Roschon Johnson didn’t do much on the field, throwing for just eight yards on five touches, but he had 25 yards through the air on two receptions in the 35-16 victory.

In the Cleveland Browns’ 20-16 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, running back D’Onta Foreman had the most carries (10) for Cleveland, which gained him 31 yards. Foreman also added 16 yards on two receptions.

Legendary Texas kicker Justin Tucker performed brilliantly in the Baltimore Ravens’ 30-23 victory over the Washington Commanders. Tucker was successful on all three field goals, the longest of which was 45 yards and three extra points.

Los Angeles Chargers player Cameron Dicker also had a great game in the 23-16 win over the Denver Broncos. Dicker also hit all three of his field goals, the longest of which was 46 yards and two extra points.

Before we get to Bijan Robinson, another former Longhorn with the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons showed up. The Panthers had Ja’Tavion Sanders rushing for 49 yards on five receptions, but it wasn’t enough against Robinson and the Falcons.

Robinson helped the Falcons win 38-20, throwing for 95 yards on the ground on 15 carries and scoring a season-high two touchdowns in the first half. Robinson also added 10 yards through the air on three receptions.

Switching to defense, New Orleans Saints linebacker Jaylon Ford recorded two tackles, the first of his NFL career, in a 51-27 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The combination of Texas defensive end T’Vondre Sweat and defensive back Quandre Diggs almost gave the Tennessee Titans a victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Sweat recorded three tackles and Diggs had six in the 20-17 loss.

Defensive backs PJ Locke and Brandon Jones once again headlined the Denver Broncos defense. Jones recorded 12 tackles and one deflection, and Locke recorded seven tackles in a 23-16 loss to the Chargers.

Defensive end Malcolm Roach also had four tackles and one pass deflection for the Broncos.

Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarvion Overshown had four tackles in an ugly 47-9 loss to the Detroit Lions.

And finally, Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back DeShon Elliot tied with six defensive tackles in a 32-13 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.

Unfortunately, no Longhorns will play on Monday Night Football, but there will be one Longhorn on Sunday Night with defensive back Joesph Ossai for the Cincinnati Bengals against the New York Giants. This game will start at 7:20 on NBC.
