Amanda Seyfried reveals the one thing she wants to do if Mamma Mia 3 gets made and I honestly can’t believe she hasn’t done it yet

It’s been 6 years since the sequel Mamma Mia has hit theaters, and it looks like fans can’t wait to metaphorically fly back to Greece. After Mamma Mia: Here we go again was a modest box office success, conversations immediately turned to the possibilities third Mamma Mia movie. The challenge is to bring back the original cast. As for Amanda Seyfried, who plays Sophie Sheridan, she has one requirement if she wants to reprise her role, and I can’t believe it hasn’t been done yet.

Both cast members and producers have said they would love to return to the fictional Greek island of Kalokairi, including Seyfried. However, Retreat – said the actress Spotlight By EW that if Sophie’s story is to continue, she has one major song request for her character:

Even though Sophie is the main character, the film focuses on her mother, Donna. Fortunately for us, Mamma Mia 2 ended with the birth of Sophie and Sky’s baby. If that doesn’t make for a perfect plot, I don’t know what will. Idea Mamma Mia 3 telling the story of Donna’s mother (played by Cher) was rejected, but I think we should give Sophie a chance to tell her story as a mom and give her a chance Jennifer’s body the actress a chance to sing “Mamma Mia”.

In my ideal world, I would love to see the entire lineage of Sheridan women on screen again, including Lily James, who played the amazing young Donna. The hardest part to work with was Meryl Streep, whose Donna died between films, but thanks to Sophie’s imagination, she briefly reappeared to sing a heartfelt version of “My Love, My Life.” However, The devil wears Prada the actress said she would love to do another one Mamma Mia and she even had some stupid ideas on how to do it herself get around the whole “death” factor..
