Taylor Swift is known for many things – her chart-topping music, her record-breaking Eras Tour, her blonde bangs, and her love of cats. . . the list goes on. However, over the course of her decades-long career, the singer has become synonymous with red lipstick – so much so that it is rarely seen NO making a crimson grimace.

Between a two-week stay with lover Travis Kelce and a two-month break from her Eras Tour, Taylor Swift is serving up fashion inspiration for fall date nights! In a departure from her usual quirky-meets-geek-chic style, Swift opted for a classic fall trench coat — and we found a $69 style that will help us get (…)

Last month, however, Swift moved away from her signature red li (and instead wore the muted, orange-nude shade on multiple occasions. As a mega-Swiftie, I spent hours trying to find the exact shade match and discovered that it’s actually a cult-favorite formula, that I use regularly: Nars Original lipstick in Morocco.

Truth be told, I didn’t have to look long to identify Swift’s new lipstick shade. Her longtime make-up artist, Lorrie Turk, she shared details of the eye-catching product on her Instagram Stories. “A lot of people ask me about that lipstick Taylor wears all the time…” Turk wrote. “It’s a Nars Morocco lipstick,” she revealed, adding that Swift has been wearing it for years.

Apparently, when Miss Swift isn’t seen with red lips, she wears an original Nars lipstick in Morocco, and I have a feeling this will soon become her new signature. Since Turk revealed the exact shade and formula, the lipstick has sold out multiple times, but is currently back in stock and Now it’s time to shop before they’re gone again.

Morocco, part of the original Nars lipstick from 1994, has stood the test of time because the neutral shade flatters all skin tones. As we enter the darker, moodier months of fall and winter, nude orange suits the aesthetic of the colder seasons and offers the perfect amount of color to subtly highlight the lips.

This particular color only comes in a matte finish, and although mattes tend to dry out your lips, you won’t experience that unpleasant feeling with this product. Because the formula contains moringa and passionfruit seed oils, each swipe nourishes your lips, so you won’t feel dry. In my experience, the lipstick feels so lightweight that I often forget I’m wearing it!

As someone who has been switching to glass oils and lip glosses over the past few months, I’m ready to usher in a new era of lips with Morocco’s favorite Nars Original Miss Swift lipstick. Be sure to add to cart before it inevitably sells out again!
