Aurora man arrested for armed robbery pleads guilty to charges and receives probation – Loveland Reporter-Herald

Robert Billie, one of three Aurora men charged in connection with an armed robbery earlier this year, pleaded guilty to the crime and received a suspended sentence.

On Wednesday morning, Billie, 20, appeared before Eighth District Court Chief Judge Susan Blanco, where he pleaded guilty to robbery, a Class 4 felony. Other charges – Possession of a prohibited large-capacity magazine during a crime, a Class 6 felony; carrying a concealed weapon, a Class 1 misdemeanor; and false imprisonment, a Class 2 misdemeanor, were dismissed.

Blanco sentenced Billie to two years probation, during which he must complete 64 hours of community service.

Billie was arrested along with two other Aurora men and two juveniles earlier this year after robbing three minors in a BMW in Mehaffey Park in late May.

According to previously disclosed information from the Loveland Journal, one of his co-defendants, 19-year-old Ahmad Richardson, is accused of threatening a BMW driver after he refused to buy Richardson a gun and was accused of stealing $80 from the boy. Police Department. Previously released information shows another co-defendant, 19-year-old Isaiah Chavez-Seppelt, is accused of tapping the car’s rear passenger window with a gun and reaching for it to put a round in the chamber.

Neither Richardson nor Chavez-Seppelt entered pleas in their cases. Both are scheduled to appear before Blanco on October 30.
